My little diary: 29th July - 4th Aug 2013
MONDAY 29.07.13
After yesterday's run and attending a 10 to 5 talk, I woke up this morning feeling sore and tired.
I have Jam to teach today! Die!

Feeling
really upset about work, it’s inappropriate to detail it here but I have briefly documented it on another blog post: Sandwiched #growingup

Something happened at work again and my monkey mind was punishing me with all sorts of assumptions.
The thing is, sometimes our imaginations go wild and we make overstated assumptions. The monkeys in my head went out of control!
As much as I remind myself not to take things personally, my monkey mind is telling me I have no proof to rule out all these assumptions!! (I hate you monkeys, I hate you!!)
I feel bad, guilty and wee, like I have no self worth, I am nobody!

I guess things can’t get any worse now that I am in the abyss. There is nowhere to go except going back up!

I really don’t like what I experience yesterday and I couldn't act like nothing has happened.
I know I need to do something! Then, I did something crazy. Like totally unexpected. Sometimes I scare myself!
There is this Chinese Idiom saying ‘心病终须心药治,解铃还是系铃人’ (Sorry, don't know how to translate it). Even if what I have said is true, I do not wish for any hurtful feelings.
We all take things differently. What I thought is okay to share might be hurtful for others to hear. So I apologized if I have hurt his feelings and to my surprise, he opened up to me and apologized too.
It was a great session and we were able to talk through things peacefully. Now that we know what each other think, we were able to overcome the obstacles that hold us back. I felt like it was a huge step forward. :D
I am happy with how things turned out. *pat on the back*
And I learnt one more thing today: The secret to Apology is to LET GO of your Ego. Apology is a bridge that reconnect us again.
That is one good lesson for me and now I can happily celebrate my 18.5 birthday with my dear dear. :) :)
We drew this together. ^^ ^^
FRIDAY
02.08.13
Oh crap! I left my phone at Kenny's house. >.<
I feel so insecure without my phone! #problemswithhumansnowadays
SATURDAY
03.08.13
4 things happen today:
1) Today mark one year of my grandma's departure.
It's already a year, but I still feel like she is on holiday.
2) Launch of GRIT at Level Up Fitness!!
Ai~ too bad I couldn't make it!! T.T But it's another milestone for LUF and I am so proud of LUF team and my dear dear! They have crank up a notch in Kuching's fitness industry!
3) Got my phone back! He drew something for me ^^ *happy*
4) Scolded don't know how many waitress at Basaga for their inefficiency! Sorry, I can't help it! I used to work in F & B line and the way they service really drive me crazy!
Kenny ordered an ice beverage and it took them one hour to deliver! GOSH!! Okay, nvm, he can share mine.
Then, I was so damn mad at them for keeping me waiting for 1 hour (despite checking with them for 3 times) in the end they told me my food wasn't being prepared at all. WTF! I was so hungry dy!
If you can't cater for so many people, then stick to less tables. If you can't cope with an extensive menu, then simply it!
Worse case scenario *drum pls ~~~~* a FLY in my SIL's half eaten apple fish! OMG!! HOW GROSS!!! CLOSE DOWN THE KITCHEN PLEASE!
I am never going back again!
SUNDAY

Did my run today!
Marathon is happening end of this month. I am so not ready! Everytime I think of the elevation, it scares me off! Maybe this will be my last full marathon? *sigh* Don't know. Let me think of something happy!
Ah yes, today is also the last day of Kuching fest! Man, we ate so much!
Charcoal toasted Ice Cream: Ice cream on the inside, charcoal bread on the outside. Nice idea and all, would be perfect if they have other Ice Cream flavour inside instead of plain cheap vanilla.
Shilin Scallop: It's popular this year but it's overrated.
Forgot what this is called but they have quite a range of Ice cream flavours to choose from as a filling for the steam bun.
Heng Hua Noodles (from Heng Ann Association Kuching): Man! It's good!! I love the broth! It's full of flavours! ^^ ^^
