Joke of the Day #34: The dragons' cousin

Image
Kenny and I recently visited Komodo Island in Indonesia. This place is where the near extinct Komodo Dragons call it their home. But not for me. I prefer to go in and out of that island as fast as I can after hearing my guide's briefing session.  He said that these big lizards have over 60 deadly bacterias in their mouth and once they bit their prey, the prey goes to heaven. And the worse part is, the Dragons have the ability to run at 20+km/hr when they prey for food and Human beings are on their menu!  Very stress leh wui~~~! They run faster than me!!!    I DON"T WANT TO DIE~~!!  Luckily, I came back alive to tell you this story (LOL) and also the next one.... *At Koreana. We're seated next to the glass window and there is a lizard outside* Kenny: (Try to scare the lizard! And the panicky lizard wiggled it's tail and tiny feet away) Me: UI~~~~!! What are you doing? Later the lizard called his mom! Kenny: hahahah...

BACK!

Hello ~~! I can't believe it's almost 3 months since I last updated this space. I went for a 2 week long honeymoon in .....you'll never guess it  but still I'll reveal it later hahaha..... and we did lots of crazy stuff together. When I say crazy, I do mean crazy, Well, at least for a non-adventurous person like me, it's like a year's worth of adventure squeezed into 2 weeks! When Kenny told me he's planning for our honeymoon and was asking me if I want beach or mountains, I said  I like mountains a little bit more than beaches! Then, I happily let him plan all the itineraries while I goyang kaki lol (since  I did most of the wedding planning, like this baru fair bah~). So where did we have our Honeymoon? No, we didn't go Maldives. No, not Paris. Not Greece. Not Switzerland either. In the end, we went..... Wait for it.... .... ... .... BHUTAN! and NEPAL (bonus)! Hahaha, I wasn't expecting Bhutan when I say 'I like ...

Amazing race to KLIA 2

Feeling so guilty. Sweat rolled down my body. Legs were sore from running all the way to the boarding gate (somemore it's located at the very end). Running with 2 luggage made my legs heavy, it felt like I was running with two 5kg plates tied on each leg.  To make it worse, I wasn't sure which gate I'm supposed to head to, but I think i saw 'J11' when I last glimpsed at the screen for Check-in Row. Run Ming! Run!!! My eyes were locked at J11, and my head was echoeing' Run faster Ming! FASTER~~~!!!!' I've probably knocked someone passing by, rolled my luggage on someone's legs.  Sorry lah! I can't fly bah~~! Announcement came on, calling for passengers boarding to Kuching, to head to L11.  'WHAT?!!!' 'L11?!!' But...But... I ran half way dy!!!  I paused and waited for the second announcement...... Damn it!!! She said L11. TWICE! 'Where the heck is L11?' I said it aloud, turned myself ...

Taiwan Penghu Islands: CiMei - Magong (澎湖岛: 七美-马公)

*continuing from Taiwan: PengHu Islands (澎湖岛) * TIP #1: Originally named '大嶼乡', the island was renamed as 'Ci Mei' (七美) to commemorate the Seven Beauties who fought for their chastity. Story has it that the men were out in the sea, when the Pirates attacked the South side of the island. Seven beautiful Maiden sacrificed their lives to protect their chastity.  Choosing death over humiliation and dishonor, the maiden jumped into a well which later grew into 7 rare Catalpa Bungei trees.  ~ ~  such a sad but brave story!  Without knowing the legend when we visited Ci Mei (七美) , the two naive tourists went: Naive 1: Oh look! That looks like an attraction! (it's a sign when you see hawkers outside) Naive 2: Okay, let's have a look! We randomly asked someone what are there to see inside? And were told.....Trees! (Okay, that person is the naive-est of all) So we thought     Harr? An entrance fee just for tree-viewing isn'...
