Amazing race to KLIA 2

Feeling so guilty.

Sweat rolled down my body. Legs were sore from running all the way to the boarding gate (somemore it's located at the very end). Running with 2 luggage made my legs heavy, it felt like I was running with two 5kg plates tied on each leg.

To make it worse, I wasn't sure which gate I'm supposed to head to, but I think i saw 'J11' when I last glimpsed at the screen for Check-in Row.

Run Ming! Run!!! My eyes were locked at J11, and my head was echoeing' Run faster Ming! FASTER~~~!!!!' I've probably knocked someone passing by, rolled my luggage on someone's legs.

Sorry lah! I can't fly bah~~!

Announcement came on, calling for passengers boarding to Kuching, to head to L11.

'WHAT?!!!'

'L11?!!'

But...But... I ran half way dy!!!

I paused and waited for the second announcement......

Damn it!!! She said L11. TWICE! 'Where the heck is L11?' I said it aloud, turned myself another direction, knocked and rolled on ppl feet AGAIN and made my way to the closest Departure gate TV screen!

My eyes were small but at time like this I really had to get my eyes wide open and filter all the info passing through my lens.

Got it! Found my flight! *move my eyeballs across and saw...* J11 lah!!! WTF!! WTF!!! WTF!!! WHOEVER MADE THAT ANNOUNCEMENT NEED TO GO TO PRIMARY SCHOOL AGAIN! J AND L DIFFERENT YOU KNOW?!!!!!

YOU DON'T SAY 'PAK NASSER'S NASI JEMAK' (NEW MENU IS IT?)

OR 'JOG INTO AIRASIA.COM' (SWEAT SWEAT SWEAT)

OR 'CHECK IN YOUR JUGGAGE (WHAT? SUPER BIG JUG?)

WTF!!!! CAN'T YOU GET THE ALPHABETS RIGHT??!!!

At a jam-packed KLIA2 (since it's school holiday and gawai holiday) hundreds, no thousands of eyes were looking at me as I run from J1 to J11 and repeatedly apologizing -'Sorrrryyyy! Rushinggggg!!'

OMG!!!! J11 is so far~~~~~~! I just did Sh'bam and Jam at workshop today, and now this exercise is like a merge of GRIT Cardio and GRIT Strength (luggage!!!)!!!!!

Belle, 小姑姑借你的scooter用可以吗?

The moment I stopped, sweat gushed down my body and over my clothes. MADE IT! But my poor dear dear......!!! He sacrificed the flight for our luggage - our IKEA goods for our nest!

SAD! We have to come back separately!

What exactly went wrong?!

*Flashback*

Original plan:
7.10pm - return to hotel (right opposite where we were)
7.15pm - bring luggage down and take taxi
7.35pm - arrive KL Sentral (actually, 15 mins drive according to Google Map)
7.40pm - board train.
8.10pm - arrive KLIA2.
8.15pm - wrap loose luggage
8.20pm - check in (55 mins beforehand)
9.15pm - flight departs.

But who would have guessed we can't get a taxi from hotel to Kl Sentral! No choice but to board Executive taxi. Expensive you know! The supposedly 15 mins took longer than expected too. Forget it, it's 7.37pm 'Head to KLIA2 pls!' we told the taxi driver. Okay, make that VERY EXPENSIVE!

......vaguely, I can heard the taxi driver's head echoing 'Yay ~! Balik rumah awal!!!'

What to do?

Our next plan were, I head to check in counter to inform and delay the closing time while Kenny get our loose Ikea items wrapped.

My jaw dropped when I saw the screen!

WHAT THE HECK? IT'S CLOSED!

2 mins late only and not a single staff at check-in row?!!! (I swear it's 2 mins cos we've been checking the time so often on our way here)

I rushed to Customer Service counter for help. But with no luck. Instead, I was told if we missed it, our next flight out is 3 days later! Cos all the flights to Kuching are FULL!

WHAT?!!!! OMG!!! WHAT SHOULD I DO WHAT SHOULD I DO?!!!!

It's either we give up on our Ikea goods and get both of us home or we wait till 3 days later!

In the end, we decided one would stay and one would go back first! You know who stayed and who went back!

The price to pay, is a 1k single way tix to Kuching the next day!

Oh....
My....
Gosh.....
!!!!!!

(Got a text from Kenny when I reached the gate, he said he's gonna eat 1k worth of food at the lounge! This dear dear ahhh! 受不了你啊! lolol)

And that is our Amazing race to KLIA 2~!
