My little diary: 23rd - 24th April 2013

Come to work today and realized, my table is left with a space that equates to 3 A4 size paper lining together on their long side. How come?? *scanning table*
With my table forever stacking with food samples and always covered with pieces of scribbled notes (that only I can decrypt hehehe) I found the cause for my lack of working space - another 2 new samples.
OMG! Where to keep them? All 3 cupboards are full, my table is obviously very occupied, the boxes hiding underneath my table also full! I peeked next door, hahahaha it's not just me, my senior's table is also damn full!!
Welcome to R & D where food naturally grows on our table! Nice or not this tagline? hahahahaha

So after discussing with my boss, we are granted to use the cupboard space on first floor office. It's now half full after I move the samples there. Hmmmm.....it's not a long term solution but oh well, at least now I got 80% of my table back!
LOL~!

Today is a super busy day for me at work. Need to attend meeting to discuss about future plannings and get my things done before I head off to Sibu.
This year will be a transition year. We are looking at the old systems and trying our best to improve them. After over 40 years of running the business, we definitely need to amend the old system (or even abolish) to make them fit into the current practice. We need to be more efficient and productive! We can't afford to do things the way we do it 40 years ago and that means, be prepared to CHANGE!
But, implementing changes are not easy. Let's face it, we hate changes. Cause once it's changed, we need to adapt, both us and the consumers. And we fear - the 'what if' knows our weaknesses too well. It will pull us back from changing cause we worry too much! What if it doesn't work? What if it's a wrong decision?
But what if everything went well?
I am excited and afraid at the same time. But if we see the value of doing it, we should Just Do it! Right?
The things we discussed were running through my head over lunch (I ate at home) and 30min before my Sesco Jam class, I realized I forgot to pack my socks!
Ohhhhh crappppp! I must have forgotten to pack my socks with too many things in my head.
In the end, I have no choice but to wear my super low cut socks underneath my sports shoes! Ok lah, better than no socks and luckily I wear covered shoes today. If not ahh, it's really embarrassing to each with kaki ayam loh.
Aiyoyo ~ ~~ Lesson learnt: 做任何事都要用心!
